New COVID Safety Protocols

Thank you everyone for being extremely patient during our re-opening process. We understand everyone is tremendously excited to get back to training. We have taken the time to ensure that our re-opening plan supports all guidance provided by local and provincial authorities as well as meets the International Taekwon-Do Federation (ITF) requirements. We must stress that the health and safety of our students and instructors remains, and always will be our top priority. That said, we have developed a detailed plan for students to review.

If you have any questions, please email us at

We look forward to seeing you soon!

  • Please arrive at least 5 minutes early. Any students late might not be permitted to train.

  • At 5 minutes before the start of class, the instructor will give signal when it is time to come into the building (please do not come into the building until you are instructed to as cleaning and sanitizing will be completed between classes).

  • Entry through the main doors will be limited to one person (or one family) at a time. Keep a 2 meter distance when entering the building.

  • Students or guardians of students are required to go through the screening checklist prior to every class attended. Please accompany your child to the door when dropping them off. Please do not attend class if you or a person you live with are sick at all.

    • Do you have new/worse cough or shortness of breath?

    • Are you feeling feverish or have had shakes or chills in the last 24 hours? (> 38 degrees Celsius)?

    • Have you had contact in the last 14 days with a sick person?

  • Hand sanitizer will be provided.

  • Bring your own filled water bottle.

  • Places will be identified for each student in order to maintain 2 meters.

  • The bathrooms should be used to a minimum and recommend using the bathroom at home before coming to the dojang.

  • Any activity that requires contact will be avoided, for example training with a partner, self-defense, sparring, etc.

  • The expiration when performing the movements will be avoided, as should the yelling or warning cries during class.

  • All testings will be modified.

  • At the end of class please leave the training floor promptly while maintaining a 2 meter distanceNo spectators inside to pick up a student.

  • Students are not required to wear a mask. If you use a mask, make sure you do it properly and take the time to read the following guidelines on proper use. Instructors will be wearing a mask when needed.

  • Instructors at each facility will be sanitizing main areas of the facility, including floors, high touch areas, door handles, etc.

We may from time to time change the rules to ensure each of our members are kept safe.

Our main concern is for you and your safety.
